Freshest Summer Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. medium ripe tomatoes, cut into wedges
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 6 Tbsp. Bertolli® Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Juice of 1/2 medium lemon
  • 1/3 cup loosely packed fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 lb. spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • Freshly shaved Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. In large bowl, toss tomatoes, garlic, Olive Oil, lemon juice, 1/2 of the basil, salt and pepper. To serve, toss hot spaghetti with tomato mixture. Top with cheese and garnish with remaining basil.
