Pappardelle With Fresh Tomatoes & Basil

Ingredients

  • 4 large tomatoes, peeled and seeded, if desired, and chopped
  • 1/4 cup thinly slicedĀ fresh basil leaves
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. Kosher salt
  • 1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup BertolliĀ® Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 package (8 oz.) pappardelle pasta or extra wide egg noodles, cooked and drained
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. In large bowl, combine all ingredients except pasta. Let stand covered 30 minutes to 2 hours. To serve, toss hot pasta with tomato mixture, then top with cheese.
